Journal Record Announces the 2005 Innovator of the Year Recipients

Digital-Tutors, a division of PL Studios, Inc., recognized for outstanding innovation
 
Oklahoma City, OK USA - April 5, 2005 - The Journal Record, a leading business publication in the Midwest, announced the 2005 Innovator of the Year award winners. The eighth annual competition celebrates business innovation. Journal Record honored companies who are setting themselves apart with products and services that are changing the market place and who exemplify an innovative spirit.

Digital-Tutors, a division of PL Studios, Inc., was award Innovator of the Year and recognized for their outstanding achievements and advances in interactive training. Revolutionizing the way people utilize the Internet for training and research, Digital-Tutors offers a library of innovative learning tools, conceived by educators and driven by artists. The community Digital-Tutors has developed, offers training in various mediums including: free streaming videos, popular cd-based, and electronic download.

The 2005 competition received hundreds of entries from several top companies in a diverse spectrum of commerce. A panel of judges, who consisted of various industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, evaluated the entries on different criteria. The 2005 competition yielded an extraordinary number of entries that were not only geographically diverse, but covered a numerous business sectors ranging from the highest of technologies to unique service and marketing concepts. The winners include not only entrepreneurs, but educators, nonprofit, government, and civic leaders.
