Digital-Tutors is looking for talented Game Development Instructor to assist our Creative and R&D Teams in creating the next generation of our award-winning training solutions for film, games, commercial, and emerging media.
The Game Development Instructors will be skilled at the Unreal Development Kit, scripting, modeling, texturing and animating characters / sets for games. Formal teaching experience is not required, but Instructors must have strong working knowledge of software and the ability to teach artists topics, tools, workflow, and production techniques.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong demonstrable understanding of the principles of game design
- High level experience with 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, and XSI
- Strong ability to create environments and sets
- Ability to build rigs that can be used as a basis for articulation and demonstration
- Must work well in a team environment and be open to direction
- Passion for learning and teaching
- Experience with teaching/training/mentoring artists on subject matter a big plus
- Feature film production and/or game experience a plus
